95 Years in the Making
In the winter of 1931, Frank bought the block machine from Joe and started making block in a garage at the corner of Ferry St. and Stanley Ave. Frank expanded the company by building a shop at a new location, and adding a tamping machine to mechanize the block making process. At this time, the business was producing around 125 blocks per day.
The facility, still located on Montrose road, caries a host of hardscape options for your residential and commercial needs.

What started 80 years ago with Frank Grimo producing block with a hand-operated machine has grown to become a leader in the production of masonry products with a modern facility producing 10,000 blocks per day.
